The Editor-in-Chief is always making sure that files are always being updated. She will have completed the ladder for the yearbook by the last week in July. She will devote the time necessary to complete a Theme Packet for the yearbook by the first Sunday night in August. She makes sure that the Head Designer completes the Style Guides by the last week in August. When school begins she will spend a lot of time looking at spreads and makes sure that they adhere to the theme of the book. Her duties include constant review with the staff members over the goals and theme of the book. She is always making suggestions and offering critiques with regards to the manner in which pages are designed. She has the ability to envision the look of the book in its entirety.
The Managing Editor will make sure that the staff is exposed to events and traditional adventures that cause members to remain connected to Yearbook. She also creates an environment with the support of staff that allows members to maintain their commitment to devote sufficient time to completing tasks that result in a timely production of the yearbook. The Managing Editor maintains comprehensive records of staff members so that it will allow for fluid communication between them inside and outside of class.
