SENIOR PORTRAIT FAQS
Q: My senior had their senior portrait taken through a friend/family member/photographer other than Keane. How do I submit them to be featured in the yearbook?
A: While you may use any photos you'd like for your senior ad, Keane Studios is the only authorized photographer for senior portraits featured in the yearbook. For consistency of design, size and indexing information we cannot use your own photos in place of a senior portrait. Q: Do I have to go to Keane's studio location to be photographed? A: Unless you reserve a time slot during one of our limited on-campus sessions, you will need to travel to Keane Studios to be photographed. Depending on the portrait package you select, Keane does offer portrait sessions shot on location around San Diego. Q: Do I have to pay to have a senior portrait taken by Keane? A: While Keane Studios does offer a variety of portrait packages including outfit changes and on-location shoots, their Yearbook-Only package is free and includes one shot only, specifically for the yearbook portrait. Q: Can I walk in to a session on-campus or at Keane Studios? A: Portrait sessions must be booked in advance for both on-campus and Keane Studios shoots. Book your session today at http://seniors.keanestudios.com/ Q: What are the clothing requirements for senior portraits? A: Semi-formal attire is recommended. Gentleman should wear button down shirts and tie; ladies should wear blouses or dresses that cover the shoulders. From Keane Studios: "The best clothing is solid, medium to dark, no prints or patterns. No bare shoulders. Darker clothing against a darker background will let the face come forward. Bare shoulders will compete with the face and will add at least ten pounds visually. Full style guide shown here or listed on Senior Portraits page: http://seniors.keanestudios.com/#!/page/176598/style-guide Q: Does the yearbook staff do any retouching on senior portraits? A: No, we don't alter portraits in any way. Keane does offer a retouching service for a fee, but we will print the portraits exactly as they are received from the studio. |
